Mark Guido Obituary

GUIDO, Mark, 79, of Lutz, passed away November 4, 2006. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Pauline Guido; children, Michael Guido (Arlene), Bobby Guido (Deborah) and Debbie Peterson; grand-children, Kevin Peterson, Matt Peterson, Christopher Guido and Lindsay Guido; great-grandson, Kian Peterson; brother, Phil Guido (Connie); and sisters, Jean Colonna and Vivian Wollensak. Retiring from Met Life after 42 years of service, Mark was also a Eucharistic minister and taught catechism for Our Lady of the Rosary for 20 years. He was also a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Knights of Columbus. He was never without a smile on his face and always willing to help those in need. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild very much. He will be dearly missed. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, at Blount and Curry Funeral Home, Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Ave., Tampa. A funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, followed by interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's name can be made to East Pasco Hospice House, 37441 Clinton Ave., Dade City, FL 33525.
