Maureen Mendoza Obituary

MENDOZA, Maureen Margaret, of Tampa, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2005, of natural causes at Tampa General Hospital. A native of London, England, she moved to America 38 years ago. She was the postal manager for a private mailing company in Tampa, a veteran of the Royal Air Force and Church of England. She is survived by her husband, Roberto "Bob" Mendoza; three daughters, Kim May of Venice, Laurie Shortt of Tampa and Katinamarie Mendoza of Tampa; two sons, Edward Zorn of Vero Beach and Robert Mendoza of Tampa; nine grandchildren, Andrea, Jimmy, Shauna, Damian, Robert, Shelby, Andrew, Hunter and Ryan; and one great-grand- daughter, Hailey. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
