While I only knew Maurice in band, I remember his infectious smile and energy. He was a good kid back in the day, being a friend to all. I can't imagine that part of him ever changing. I am very sorry for Maurice's family loss. Prayers for God's love.

Kim, Katavia and Tony, on behalf of our entire family, to include our extended family. We send our deepest sympathy and love. You are family to us. We have a friendship that lasted for over 40 years. Losing Maurice has left a void in our hearts that only time will fill. He was a true Soldier until the end. He fought a good fight and he finished his race. Although we will miss him, we are comforted knowing we will see him again.

My Condolences to the Family. Mr. Larry was a dear friend of mine at Hillsborough County Schools and welcomed me with open arms when I started working there. I always enjoyed seeing him when I came to work , he always had a smile on his face. He will be missed dearly.

Kim, Katavia and Maurice, Our sincere condolences to you during this time of grief. We understand your pain and heartache. We didn't know Maurice but we attended church in Colorado Springs with his wife and children. This time is hard but God certainly helps us through it ... in his time. Sending love and praying God holds you near to His heart.

To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. You can be proud to call him Husband, Father, Grand Father, Friend, etc. Maurice was a caring person, he always asked about my family and he especially focused on my father. He was concerned about others, not wanting anyone to worry about him. It was hard to see Maurice's health decline. Through all the years we worked together, he treated me with respect, we had many laughs and heart felt conversations. When I think about him, I am sad, but somehow a smile finds it's way to my face. I will keep you in my prayers as you grieve, but remember someday soon, we will see him again! BYE FOR NOW, MY FRIEND!!

I had the honor of working with Maurice at Hillsborough County Schools and I was always impressed with his enthusiasm and high spirits. My relationship with Maurice was more than just co-workers... we were both retired Army and had that special bond that only career Army brothers have. Maurice will be greatly missed, and my sincerest thoughts and prayers continue to be with his family.
