Maurice Moore Obituary

MOORE, Maurice Henry Passed peacefully on Feb. 21, 2008, at Marliere Hospice Care Center. Born Feb. 14. 1925 to the late Maurice W. and Sereda Moore of Elm Grove, Wheeling, WV. He graduated from Linsley Military Institute and WVA University. He served in World War II and Korea. He was employed for 28 years by Michael Bakenda Consulting Engineers, Brighton Twp. He was a member and past president of the Beaver Co. Society of Professional Engineers, a member of the American Legion, Highland Lakes Association, retired member of the Beaver, PA Volunteer Fire Department and a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Tarpon Springs. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Roberta "Bobbie"; son, Rev. Robert W. (Lorraine), of Houston, TX; daughter, Ruth Ann Moore, of Palm Desert, CA; 2 grandsons; brother, Carl E., of New Port Richey; sister, Emma June Hanlin, of Canton, OH. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Tuesday, Feb. 26th at Moss Feaster Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, Feb. 27 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church of Tarpon Springs. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Timothy Lutheran Church of Tarpon Springs. Moss Feaster Palm Harbor 727-562-2090
