I really don't know what to say about my Aunt Melanie because I wouldn't know were to even begin. She was like a burning candle in my life and now that candle has blown out. My ife will never be the same without her and I am saying that from the bottom of my heart She was like my 2nd mother whenever I couldn't talk to my mom about something I would talk to her and I will miss her soo much.

What a privilege it is for me to write in this guestbook and to have known Melanie personally. I was her parish priest for several years at St Stephen. To know Melanie was to know a glimplse of GOd who is love. For that is what best summarizes her life. She was a woman of great faith hope and love. She truly lived what she believed, may we be as faithful and loving as she.

I Praise God for My older sister Melanie She was such a blessing to me and my wife and kids. She loved Life, Her Husband Bob, Family and Friends and her
Church.. Not exactly in that Order. One year, when I had no money and No Present for my wife on our Anniversary, Melanie came to my Rescue. She called me up and said come over right away. She bought me a beautiful gold chain, Flowers and a card for my wife to keep me out of hot water. Thats just the way Mel was. She spoiled my kids Rotten and I forever grateful for that too. Whenever we were over Aunt Mels and Uncle Bobs house I would tell my kids to stop doing something and they would say Aunt Mel said we could .. and that made it Final. My kids were her kids and I didn’t dare argue with her.
Melanie had a great sense of humor and always had something to say that would lift me up, when I was down. Even in her last few weeks , when she was in her bed I went by and we talked and I told her that I loved her and was touching her hair.. She Said , I Love you too, but stop petting me I’m not your Dog and we both Laughed. We will laugh again, one day soon on the other side.
Melanie, When you see Jesus, put in a good word for me and tell him that I am trying so hard to be a good Christian, save me a spot with a good view, it won’t be long and we will all be together again.

I knew Melanie many years ago when she lived in Ridgefield Park, NJ. She is the sister of my best friend Paul Wycka and I'll always remember how much she liked to tease. She was always great fun and I know she will be missed. My sincerest condolences and blessings.

I never met Melanie but I became a good friend of Bob's when we worked together at Bank of America in Tampa. Bob told her how I loved airplanes. One day at work he brought me a pin that Melanie had made for me out of a postage stamp. She didn't even know me and she made a pin for me. That shows what a thoughtful and giving person she was. I am sorry that I never got to know Melanie. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family and friends. She will be truly missed.

My Aunt Melanie was one of the most amazing women that I have ever known. I have never met someone that I would like to model my life after like her. She was consently giving to others and was extremely patient even when the cards were stacked against her. She and my Uncle Bob have sent years providing my father with care that can not be matched. She was truly selfless and while I did not get the chance to express it like I wish I could have I will always admire her. She will be missed.

I knew Melanie from the Tampa Postoffice. She immediatly helped me out, when she learned about our recent move to Florida. She was a very caring person and always helped, even if she did not know you well. I am lucky to have known her.
Now she is a angel in heaven, watching over us.

I was one of the fortunate people to have known Melanie. I worked with her for many years on the racks at the post office. What a wonderful person. She did so many nice things for me. She arranged a surprise baby shower for me at work when I was pregnant with my second child. She & I were the only women on the pay location at that time. I'm sure that was no easy task. Herself and about twenty men. (She planned and did everything).
Years later when I went through my divorce. Melanie was there for me again. She even came with me and my three daughters to Disney World for a weekend. Then there was having my very first garage sale. Melanie came with Bob at 7:00 am to help me. There was several times I had the pleasure to get together with Melanie and Bob. The two of them could really keep you laughing.
That is just a few of the wonderful memories I will always have.
Melanie, hope you meet my mom up there, because she was a wonderful person too, just like you

I worked with Melanie for many years at the Post Office and truely feel the loss of a good friend. The relationship that she and Bob had together was so wonderful that it almost made you envious that we all didn't have that in our lives. They loved traveling together and, as Bob put it, "She was (his) my gambling buddy".

I had only met Melanie a few times while working for Bob at the Brandon post office but never had more time to get to know them both on a more personal level. Alas I have missed adding Melanie's friendship to my life. I was very touched by what her family and friends had to say about her and I am glad they took the time to enrich their lives with her love for them. I was a co-worker of Melanie's for a short time at the Postal Service, and it was truly a priviledge to work with her..... just to know her at all. It was such a wonderful service tonite; so many great things were said about this truly remarkable woman, and all the statements just hit home for me. For those who knew Mel, they could relate to all the kind and wonderful things said about her, and just know that they were only the tip of the iceburg. She was one of a kind, and will be sorely missed.

Melanie was just like a mother to me. Always giving, caring and sharing to me and my family especially my 2 children, Ashley and Courtney who loved her so very much!
She was always giving to others and helping others, always putting herself in second, for those she loved and cared for. I can only hope that she is now out of pain, and looking down on all of us watching us and keeping us safe each and every day.

I worked with Melanie at the post office and she was one of the most loving and giving people I know. She always had a smile no matter how hard things were for her. If you ever needed help with anything, she was always there.
