In searching Melvin's name I come to find he has passed. "Hook" was my center, teammate and I considered a friend while we played ball together at Edinboro State. I could depend on him on that court and the drives we took to Erie, PA. and hangout at the mall. For years wanted to visit him but things never could work out. My deepest condolences to his family. I'll always hold dear the memories from our college days. Rest well and in peace my brother.
