Hearts are heavy and tears have falling but through it all we find joy knowing that Mimi is at peace now. The God that created her is the same God that called her home. We just thank him for sharing Mimi with us through the years and for the impact she's had on those she touched. She will definitely be missed. We now have another angel to watch over us. My heartfelt condolences to Mimi's family. I only knew Mimi for a short time while I was at AFSCME in DC, but her spirit, smile and great sense of humor had a big impact on me while I was there. We checked in with each other and joked around almost everyday. I was very sad to hear this news, I can still see her smiling face so clearly. Rest well, friend.
