Mike L. HUGHEY

HUGHEY, Mike L., 91, of Tampa, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on April 29, 2014. He is united in heaven with his loving wife of 73 years, Evelyn, his parents Stanley and Alice, sister Wanita and grandson, Mark Carter. He is survived by his daughters, Shirley Carter (Wayne) and Carolyn Thatcher (Chet); grandchildren, Kim, Glenn, Jonathan (Julie) and Allison; great grandchildren, Crystal, Maximus and Charlotte; also survived by loving niece, Margaret Alice and nephews, David and Charles. Mike and Evelyn founded Supertest Oil Company in 1946. They had been active at Central Bible Chapel their entire married life. He will be forever loved and missed by his family and many friends. We want to thank his faithful and loving family for their many acts of kindness: Daniel, Stacey, Nikki, Nicholas, Amber and friends Edward and Mark. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Camp Horizon, 7369 Sunnyside Drive, Leesburg, Florida 34748. A celebration of his heavenly homecoming will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Central Bible Chapel, 12024 Gunn Highway, Odessa, Florida followed by interment in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa, Florida. His final message to all is John 3:16 " For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
