PACKARD, Nancy Lenore (Jones) 90, of Dunedin, FL, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2023. Born in Mineola, NY, on Jan. 27, 1932, she moved to Florida with her family as a young girl. A graduate of Clearwater High School (1949), and Florida State University (1953), she returned to USF in the mid-1970's for her education degree. She taught middle school math and algebra for over 20 years at Tarpon Springs Middle School. She was a 60+ year member of the choir at 1st United Methodist Church in Dunedin, and was also a member of the Dunedin Junior Service League. She is survived by her children, Steven (Debbie), Susan (Kevin), and Bill (Jill); many beloved grandchildren, Lisa, Ryan, Christine, Elizabeth, Brie, Kaelyn, Taylor, and Chloe; great-grandchildren, Luke, Noah, Emma, Jordan, Arlo, Evelyn, Rollins, and Phoebe; and her sisters, Carole Free and Liz Ware. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Packard. Known by everyone as Nan, she was a lifelong member of the Methodist church, a big FSU Seminoles fan, and a devoted wife and mother who loved nothing more than big family gatherings. She touched many lives through her teaching, tutoring, church, and participating in her children's activities. She is deeply loved and will be dearly missed. Services will be held Jan. 28, 2023, at 11 am, at 1st United Methodist Church, Dunedin. In lieu of flowers, donations to the church are appreciated.
