Nancy Sterner Obituary

STERNER, Nancy Eileen, 57, of Tampa, died Saturday, September 11, 2004. Born in Pennsylvania, she moved to Florida from New Jersey in 1984 and was a longtime employee of Eastern Airlines. She was a member of Hyde Park United Methodist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, Bible study leader, on the Altar Guild and in the Handbell Choir. Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jane, and is survived by her father and stepmother, Emerson and Eunice; a brother, Alan; numerous cousins; and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2004, at Hyde Park United Methodist Church. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Nancy was a dear person who always put other peoples interests before her own. She will be fondly remembered by myself and my family and many friends for her many random acts of kindness and always helping to fill the needs of those less fortunate. She wil be missed.
