I was so sorry to hear of Nelson's passing, I have known him for over 35 years. Nelson and I worked together in the 014th District Shakespeare Station in the 1970's, he was a terrific Police Officer and a dear friend. He will be sorely missed by his many CPD friends. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this most challenging time. I know Nelson, he will be watching out for all of us from up above. God bless Nelson may he rest in peace. Thank you Nelson for your Military and Law Enforcement service we appreciated your sacrifices. We will see each other again and reminisce some old stories.

It was always a bright spot in the week when my path would cross with your good husband and dad. He was upbeat, engaged in caring for CPD personnel, and faithful as well as popular and respected by his colleagues. May Nelson know God´s peace and presence now, until you hold him again, forever.
