Pamela Margait Obituary

MARGAIT, Pamela Marie (Stott) 54, of Palm Harbor, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010, while under Hospice care. Born in Bridgeport, CT, she and husband Rudy came to Florida in 1998 to be close to her mother and live in the land of sunshine. She was predeceased by her father William A. Stott and mother Mary F. Stott. Survived by loving husband Rudy Margait; brothers, Dennis (Lana) Stott, William (Christine) Stott, Raymond Stott; stepchildren Mark (Diane) Margait, Michael Margait, Bob Margait. Her "other kids" are nephews, William "the Kid" Stott, Christopher "Critter" Stott, niece Alicia "Ali" Stott; and granddaughter Michelle "Punk" Margait. She began her work life in the banking industry quickly rising to the level of senior management. Since 1998, she enjoyed success at FIS of St. Petersburg, where she was Director of Product Support. Travel was a passion for Pam and Rudy, with Sanibel Island being one of their frequent and favorite destinations. Pam was an active member of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, Palm Harbor. Her faith, along with the love of family and friends, gave Pam great strength, joy and a life of fulfillment. A straight shooter with a great sense of humor, Pam will be dearly missed. Services will be held on Monday July 19th at 10:30am at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2757 Alderman Road, Palm Harbor.
