Penny Durocher Obituary

DUROCHER, the Rev. Penny Bennett, 57, formerly of Gibsonton, Fla., passed away August 15, 2008, in Fowlerville, Mich., after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Fanelli. She is survived by a son, two daughters, eight grand-children, a sister and other loving family members and friends. She attended East Bay High School. A celebration of her life will take place September 23, 2008, at the United Brethren Church in Fowlerville. Memories of Penny should be emailed to [email protected]. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the missions field through www.durochers.org/penny

No matter how long you are gone I will always miss you. Your love, loyalty and wisdom are always with me. You would be so proud of you kids and grandkids. They are all wonderful.

Penny, I remember the first time I met you at Riverview Elementary in Mrs. Burton's First Grade Class. We enoyed many happy fun filled hours, twirling batons and just being happy to be together. I missed you when you moved to MIchigan, and I miss you now.
