I cannot believe another year has passed. Both you and Huggy are gone. Yesterday, I saw your home. I am so happy you didn't see the devastating of Hurricane Helene. I walked through the condo. Everything will have to be replaced. I was allowed to go yesterday as all the bridges were finally open. I thought of you and Huggs on the porch and scooting around the park. You would have heartsick over the devastation. But, you would say to rebuild and carry on because it is home. You are missed and touched the hearts of many. Blessings, Lily

I miss Pat dearly. He was cut from a different cloth; one that has been forgotten & the world could sorely use now. He was so good for my mom and for us sons. My love for him transcends his earthly vessel. Go Packers!

Kathleen I am so sorry for your loss of Pat. I have so many funny, sweet and heartfelt memories of Pat. Lorny and I loved him very much. I have one very special memory I want to share with you about Pat. After Lorny passed away I was trying to find my way with life just being Gator and I. I was really having a hard time and I needed a break. Pat and I had talked on numerous occasions and he understood that I needed a change of scenery. He told me that if I ever decided to go to let him know. One morning I packed a bag, put Gator in the truck and wrote a note to Pat letting him know that Gator and I were heading out to do some traveling and deal with the loss of Lorny. It was 4 in the morning when I pulled up in front of your place. Pat was sitting outside smoking a cigarette. We talked for quite awhile and that was the first time I was able to cry since everything with Lorny. We laughed about some of the funny moments he, Lorny and I had experienced. Sometime I will tell you about what all happened when you were at the hair show. I still laugh about it. I could talk to Pat about anything. Pat was my friend and I loved him. I miss him, but I know that he, Lorny and all our other friends that have passed on are keeping the angels on their toes. Love you very much Kathleen. I cannot wait to see Pats bench!!

Pat was beloved by so many. He impacted the lives of family, friends, and neighbors. Pat's memory was honored this year with the placement of a memorial bench in Pat's beloved Treasure Island Park. Please honor Pat by using the bench and noting the personalization. Huggie Bear is pictured on the bench. As everyone knows Pat and Huggs were inseparable in the park. Blessings on a life well lived and remembered. Lily

Pat was a wonderful neighbor and friend. He always had a kind word for me, Kyle and Skyler and loved to banter back and forth with Angelo (as guys will do). He was a gentle giant. We loved watching him take Huggie for a walk around the park and seeing many folks tooting their horns and waving to him or stopping by to chat when he sat out front. We will miss you Pat. Love Always - Penny, Angelo, Kyle, Skyler and Brody Cooke

Every year coming back to Treasure Island Pat was there to welcome us. He'd be in his chair outside his condo. Sometimes he greeted us with a joke: Hans, when do they bring the rest of your car?, when we had a small rented car.
During our stay this year he passed away and we already missed him. Pat rest in peace.
