Met Rick in Florida prob about 1982. At a place called dock of the bay in Clearwater. He really treated me great and showed me a great time the entire month I was there. I never forgot him. I called him late one night while going through old photo albums and found a picture of him. Told him my sad story and he was gracious enough to take the time to listen. I appreciated that.

I met Rick in 1970 in New York City where we worked together in a movie theatre. We became instant friends and remained friends for 53 years. Over the years we shared many adventures, lots of laughs and a real bond. Rick introduced me to my late wife Jennifer and was my best man in our wedding in 1978. If not for Rick I never would have moved to Florida or met my wife. He was not just a dear friend but a real influencer of my life. I will never forget him for that. I will miss him dearly. My sincere condolences to his wife and family.

Rick knew everyone and better yet was friends with everyone. He always had a smile or a funny joke to share. He embraced the power of positivity, even during his illness. He deeply cared for his Lenstec family and I enjoyed the years of friendship I had with him. I especially loved to hear about the adventures of his cats (short bus, sweetie) and I enjoyed lunching with him for Indian food at the 'gas station' restaurant. Good food and great company! Rick will be missed. RIP.
