STAGGS, Riley Jean

8, entered into rest November 12, 2016. Riley was an amazing and strong little girl who touched the hearts of those around her. Riley was an angel on earth, positively impacting every life she touched. Although her quality of life was limited, she never failed to smile from ear to ear. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her uncle, Randy Staggs. Survivors include her parents, Christopher and Rachel Staggs; sisters, Aubrey and Kinsley; paternal grandmother, Gina (David) Foss; paternal grandfather, Randy Staggs; maternal grandmother, Sandra (Doug) Cox; maternal grandfather, Mark (Gina) Watts; numerous aunts and uncles. A funeral service will be held 11 am, Wednesday, November 16 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. Please sign Riley's guestbook at:

Miracles are defined by things we cannot explain. Journeys that where said to be impossible. Events that should not have happened by normal means. Beating the odds against all others judgement. Having enter in your life some 8 years ago, I saw this to be true. When others only gave you days, I saw more. Your eyes told me otherwise, your spirit was strong! With only two days under my care this message was give to your wonderful family. A message that you had more to give then just a week of your life said the doctors. Though I was only a part of your journey, your story has been told many times over. Giving others hope and joy that you have given to me and all you have touch. Forever in their hearts you shall ever be!

Although you were called home to be amongst many family members that we still to this day hold dear in our hearts you will never be forgotten. The handful of visits that I had with you were unforgettable and cherished. You are truly a princess and role model to many people young and old including myself. Miss Riley, a tear sheds from every person that hears your name. A heart aches for your mommy, daddy, sisters and family. Each and every one of us that got the chance to even know of your name should feel special because it's not everyday that we get to say that we knew and met an angel on earth. You were placed at your temporary home but now you were called amongst our Father so that you could leave a impression unlike any other, an example to all that walks this earth that no matter what you receive in life you should never for one second underestimate the power of a miracle because that, my child is what we always seem to never understand. The fact that miracles happen and angels are in front of us but we never seem to realize it. At least I didn't until I met you baby girl. We all will keep your mommy and daddy and family in our prayers as they go thru this time and we will always remember the angel that brighten the day with the warm smile that was always upon your face.
