Robert BISHOP

BISHOP, Robert J. 95, passed away Aug. 16, 2021 at Bayleigh Chase Assisted Living, Easton MD, at his side was his wife of 73 years, Erla Mae. A native of Youngstown OH. Bob retired from GTE Florida. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 127 in Clearwater and the Egypt Temple Shrine in Tampa. Survivors include a son, Will (Leslie), two grandsons, and two great-grandsons. Bob served in the Army in WWII with the 63rd Division and was a graduate of Youngstown College. Bob was active in amateur radio and hobbies included electric trains. Cremation will be followed by a small family service Aug. 24, 2021 at Thomas Funeral Home, Cambridge MD. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages gifts to the Florida Masonic Home in St. Petersburg in his name.
