Robert BRIDGMAN Obituary
"Bob" of Bay Island in South Pasadena, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully April 2, 2016. He was the beloved husband of 40 years to Jacqueline Bridgman; cherished father to Wendy (Paul) and Shelley (Steve); beloved 'Pappy' to Coleman, Robin, and Carley. Bob was predeceased by his brother, Don Bridgman and Don's wife, Alice. He will be sorely missed by his sister, June Wagner and her husband, John; plus his many nieces and nephews. Bob began his career as a jeweller in Toronto, Canada prior to starting Bridgman Importing, a wholesale gift company. He expanded his company to the United States which allowed he and Jackie the dream of living in Florida. He was an avid golfer and had many friends in the golfing community. Latterly, he rediscovered his love of barbershop quartets. A member of Barbershop Harmony Society for 70 years, he recently reconnected with many barbershop friends from years gone by. In loving memory, and in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Florida or Harmonize for Speech Canada (www.harmonize4speech.org) would be greatly appreciated.
