Robert SHEPARD Obituary
of Safety Harbor, passed away peacefully Nov. 15, 2014. He was born in Dallas, TX, on Aug. 30, 1946 to Tobert and Madeline Shepard. He attended Richardson Hgh School in Dallas and graduated from Texas A&M University. He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He always led with his heart (and his mouth wasn't too far behind). Bob was gifted with an incredible sense of humor. He created a memory for all of those he came into contact with. He gave solid advice for anyone that had a perplexing need. Bob's spirituality was of high value. He was connected to his Lord in many ways, particularly in nature. His 34 years of sobriety were of the utmost importance. Bob is survived by his wife, Cathy; and two sons, Robert C. and Austin. A celebration of life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 110 McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, FL 33759, at 7 pm, on Friday, Nov. 21.

I know Bob's loss has left a hole in the hearts of his two sons. They are wonderful nephews to me, and I know how fond and close they were to their father. I have great memories of Bob -- the laughter, the gardening, and his gift of gab. What a great wit he had. I wish Cathy, the boys, and all the family love and peace. Judy Sissom

Bob was the coolest neighbor and friend! He left an indelible impression on us with his comedic and sincerely friendly nature--he is missed! May God bless him and Cathy and his sons...I'm sure we'll see him again some day....
