Robert Silas Obituary

SILAS, Robert L. "Von," 62, of Plant City, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Manette Silas; his son, Robert Lee Silas of Plant City; sister, Carolyn Ward and his grandson, Hunter Braxton Silas. Also numerous nieces and nephews; grandnieces; and grandnephews. A memorial service will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at Whitehurst Road Baptist Church, Plant City, Fla. In lieu of flowers, please donate to LifePath Hospice Hillsborough or the Bruton Memorial Library.

My deepest sympathy to Manette and LeeBoy. We all will miss Uncle Von very much. Miss playing tennis at Tomlin Middle School with him,family gatherings. Our lives were blessed by him being a part of it. We love you uncle Von. Prayers and thoughts are with the family
