Walter Noble Obituary
69, of Burnsville, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025. A native of Seminole, Florida, he was a son of Dr. Walter B. Noble, Jr. and Joyce Canup Noble of Burnsville. He is preceded in death by his brother, David William Noble, who passed away in 2011.
Barney was a native of Pinellas County, Florida, and a graduate of Seminole High School. He went on to study computer science at St. Petersburg College, laying the foundation for a life marked by curiosity, dedication, and a love of learning. After moving to Burnsville, Barney and his family became longtime members of Grace Episcopal Church, where their faith and community connections flourished.
In addition to his parents, Walter and Joyce, he is survived by his sister, Diana C. Noble of Burnsville, and extended family: Bob and Freida Noble of Mooresville, NC; Steve Noble of York, SC; Jeff Boggs (Sharon) of Kannapolis, NC; Matthew and John Schnedl, both of Washington, DC; Windon (Ron) Biesekner of Chesapeake, VA; and Don Blanton of Reidsville, NC, as well as several other extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Grace Episcopal Church, located at 871 Merrimon Ave, Asheville, NC 28804.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
