I worked as the tech on the LND floor with Dr. Bane, and he had a personality and aura that was unmatched. You could tell he really cared about his patience and that he was so funny and had such a big heart. I hope his memory lives on forever and I still remember you to this day. Love you.

Dr. Bain was such an awesome Doctor. He was my girls doctor for YEARS until I moved out of state, I just moved back last week and the first thing I did was goggle his number to enroll my kids back with him and I heard the horrible news of his passing. We all cried. He will be missed. R.I.P Dr. Bain

When I was in my late teens I used to babysit for Russell's baby brother, Mitchell. We all lived in Canarsie at the time. I was the "steady" babysitter for a few years. I was actually invited to Russell's Bar Mitzvah, which I attended and I remember it was a beautiful event. The middle child was Deborah, I believe and I think the mom's name was Sheila (not sure). So saddened to hear of this tragedy; my late condolences to the family, may he RIP.

I just heard the news of his passing. I am shocked. My son had been going to him since he was 2 yrs old. I tried calling office to check on my sons next appointment & wasnt getting through now I know why. Such a great doctor he was & staff beyond courtesy. R.I.P. I just heard this news and am shocked and disheartened by it. Dr. Bain was the only Doctor my 13 yr old son has ever known. I hate to tell him. What a great loss to the children that he treated. He was kind, funny and always realistic in his presentation of issues. RIP Doc. You will be greatly missed. My DEEPEST condolences to his family, friends and staff. I loved his staff to death, wonderful bunch of women I will miss greatly.

Dear Russell, it has been many years since I have seen you and I was deeply saddened that you are gone. I know you are in a better place as you were a such a kind and generous soul. You were also one of the funniest men I ever met. You were full of fun and your crazy "larger than life" spirit is what I enjoyed the most from you. I was shocked and so sad to hear this terrible news :( Dr. Bain was my twin girls pediatrician from the time they were born, when his office was in New Port Richey. If my girls were sad and not feeling well, he would always say or do something funny to get them to laugh. What a sad loss for his patients past and present. My condolences to his family, friends and co-workers. Rest In Peace.

He just made there before we did! I lost my mom last year, she was one of six realitives I lost....i empathize and am giving you all a great big hug! I first met Russell when he came to practice in Pasco county many years ago. He came to my office and introduced himself and I knew immediately he would be a blessing to the community. I was an early supporter of the Pasco Pediatric Foundation which he founded to meet the needs of underserved families in the county. He was a true Servant.
Well done old friend! You will be deeply missed. Save me a table up there.

Dr Bain was an awesome doctor!!! Not only did he take care of my children but when he built his building in spring hill my company built and installed all the cabinetry in his new office and we became friends. We didn't have a chance to become close but he always went above and beyond when it came to me children.Rest In Peace'

Our family has known this wonderful man for the past 28 years. He was wonderful to our children as well as our grandchildren. He will be very missed by an entire community from patient's, families as well as his professional colleagues who are stunned I am sure. Big Daddy Bain,
Thank you for all you taught me. I am heartbroken that your life ended so soon and so tragically. I can't wrap my head around it. I can hear you singing my name Shauna-nauna-nauna-nauna-na, throughout the halls of the office. You were a very smart man. I will take what you taught me as a provider and grow with it. I hope to at least positively touch and help as many patients as you did, although a big goal, I am up for the challenge. I enjoyed your sense of humor and fun you brought to life. Your laid back style made working more fun. It was so quiet when you were out of the office, Lol. I laugh remembering you leaving your car running in the parking lot with the window open. Thank God no one stole it.

I wish I would have reached out to you at least one more time. Although the Rabbi said it wouldn't have changed the outcome, it would have made me feel better for trying. I truly hope that you are at peace now and happier than ever.

Dr Bain will be missed dearly. I loved when he came to the Hospital to sign charts. He would make us all laugh so much. Just listening to his Voice and feeling like i was back in Brooklyn. What a Wonderful Person. God Bless.

You were a big part of my family's life for 17 years. The help you gave us over that time, especially to my boys with special needs will never be forgotten. You helped them when no one else would. You certainly did love a challenge. I'm forever grateful for having known you and putting my faith in you, I'm so sad that you have passed on. Dr. Bain was the pediatrician for my kiddos since their birth. He could always make them laugh and smile and clearly cared for his patients. My heart goes out to his family. Dr. Bain has been doctor to my 3 sons for just short of 15 years. Because of my youngest son's special needs, I have seen more of Dr. Bain then most of my extended family members. Which is why he is like one of the family to me. He took very good care of all my sons. He was kind and attentive and did his best to meet all the needs of my whole family. He will be greatly missed. He is irreplaceable. Our love and prayers go out to his family.
