Ruth JOHNSON Obituary
93, of St. Petersburg, FL went home to be with her Lord and Savior October 6, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA. Ruth worked and lived in Florida for the last 66 years. Her favorite job was corresponding with children around the world, sharing with them the love of Christ, and sending them Bible lessons when they wrote to "Joy Junction" a program developed and hosted by her nephew, Don MacAllister, formerly televised by the Christian Television Network. She is survived by her children, LaRayne Henniger, Donna Hibbard, and Charles Robert Johnson Jr.; their spouses, David Henniger and Randy Hibbard; and ten grandchildren, spouses, and great-grandchildren, Mark (Heather), Madison and Garrett; Jill, (Dan), Luke, Kate, and Hope; Matt, (Mindy), Amanda, Ellen, Adrielle, Emileo, and Ezekiel; Mike, (Ronna), David, Steven, Kelly, Sophie, and Weston; Robert, Trinity, Zoe, Seth, and Aiden; Samantha; Elizabeth, (Johnny), Kylee, and Kalee; Sarah and Bailey; Rachel, (Matthew), Audrey, Hazel, and Truitt; Hillary (Christian) and Josiah. She also counted Anne Cooper as her own. A private service will be held in her honor at a later date. In lieu of flowers or cards please send your donation to the Christian Television Network.

I knew Aunt Ruth for years from working around the corner from her office at CTN. She was the sweetest, kindest, most gentle woman I ever knew. She never had anything but good to say about everybody. I just loved her and have thought of her often since she quit working here.

My Condolences! I see that Ruth was a loving, God fearing women. I'm sure she will be missed dearly. I hope you find comfort in Jesus words about the future. Matt 5:25 says "Most truly I say to you, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and will live." Its a beautiful promise that many look forward to.
