Sally Bruynell Obituary

BRUYNELL , Sally Sais 65, of Clearwater, FL, passed away December 8, 2020. She was born August 17, 1955 in Tampa, Florida. Preceded in death by her father Thomas Julius Sais; mother, Vera Valentine Verdyck; and eldest son, Joshua Stephen Bruynell, Sally is survived by her brother, Thomas Sais; her sister, Terry Sais; her brother, Steve Sais; her son, Jacob Bruynell; her daughter, Jaime Bruynell; and many beloved nephews and nieces. Sally graduated from H.B. Plant High School in 1973. Sally went on to study nursing at St. Petersburg Junior College, earning her Associates of Science in Nursing in 1978. Sally furthered her education at University of South Florida, earning her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1981. Sally spent almost three decades practicing nursing, with a focus in oncology. After surviving a neuroblastoma as a toddler, Sally felt like it was her calling to help patients with cancer. Even with her chronic illnesses, she was always so caring and put others before herself. Her resilient spirit and beautiful smile will be remembered by all who knew her.
