Shelia UPSHAW Obituary

UPSHAW, Shelia D.

Ms. Shelia D. Upshaw 48, of Tampa, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday Sept. 5, 2015 at 1 pm at Exciting Central Tampa Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Preceded brother, Robert, Jr.; eldest sister, Eloise; grandparents, Zack and Evelyn McCall-Miller, Goatis and Ida Wiley-Upshaw. Cherishing her legacy will be her two sons she declared to be her Valiant Soldiers, Rashad Upshaw (Shakira), Carlos Upshaw, and her twin daughters, Zaria and Shacaria Upshaw. Celebrating ther life, are her devoted parents, Robert Lee and Rosa M. Upshaw; four sisters, Roberta Upshaw-Jones (Kenneth, Sr.), Carolyn and Priscilla Upshaw, Paulette Upshaw-Wells (Tyrone). Sheila Upshaw was born to Robert Lee and Rosa Mae Upshaw on Nov. 21, 1966. She graduated from the University of Phoenix. Shelia was a former employee with Department of Corrections, Phar-America, Hillsborough County Schools, Coca-Cola Enterprises, and was a Care Giver for children with Autism. Shelia attended Grace Mary Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member and served in various capacities. Shelia enjoyed her gifts in singing. There will be a viewing on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015 from 5-8 pm with the family present at 6 am at Grace Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 3901 N. 37th Street, Tampa. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at approximately 12:45 pm for the service. www.wilson-funeralhome.com
