Stanley MOREY Obituary

MOREY, Dr. Stanley William, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 26, 2022. Stan is survived by his precious wife of 56 years, Gery Morey; his two sons, Michael Morey (Lorida) and Mark Morey (Tonya); his two amazingly talented granddaughters, Sarah and Heather Morey; his sister, Toni Millican; his brothers, Michael Nistal and Steve Nistal (Marie); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Stan was born in New York and moved to Tampa in 1955. He graduated from Chamberlain High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Tampa University in 1965, and was awarded a Degree of Doctor of Philosophy from Pacific College in 1975. Stan was the proud owner of Stan's Gym in Temple Terrace, where he successfully mentored many bodybuilders and other athletes. Celebration of Life will be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moffitt Cancer Center and The Humane Society of Tampa.
