Stanley Petrousky Obituary

PETROUSKY, Stanley, 66, of Tampa died Saturday, February 22, 2014. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 3, 1947. Stan lost his battle with leukemia after a valiant effort. He faced each moment of his devastating illness with strong determination, great courage and strength. Stan was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his adoring wife Christine and their loving children, daughter Denise and her husband Matthew Murray and two sons, Matthew Petrousky and his wife Amy and Joseph Petrousky and his wife Lisa. Stan was a wonderful grandfather to his six beautiful grandchildren Andrew and Abigail Petrousky, Ryan and Tyler Murray and Robert Victor and Lucas Petrousky. Stan was blessed with a large extended family that brought much love, happiness and laughter into his life. Stan's legacy is that it did not take knowing him well or being with him for very long to see Stan's joy and how proud he was of his family. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Stephen Catholic Church.
