Steven Fellin Obituary

FELLIN, Steven A. Jr., 53, a loving husband and father, passed away peacefully at home. Born in New Brunswick, N.J., he resided in Middlesex, N.J., before moving to Tampa 2 years ago. Mr. Fellin was a manager for Scott' s Lawn Service in Tampa for the past 2 years. He played high school baseball in his youth and played softball in both New Jersey and Florida Men' s Leagues. He enjoyed golf and fishing and was an avid New York Yankee' s and Greenbay Packers fan. He was a devoted husband, father, son and brother who will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. He was predeceased by his father, Steven A. Fellin, Sr. in 2003. Surviving are his wife, Donna Lovinger Fellin; son, Michael Fellin of Tampa; two step-daughters, Courtney and Lauren Lovinger, mother, Laura Fellin and brother, Scott Fellin and wife, Maureen, all of Middlesex; his sisters, Donna Coppola and husband, Daniel of Somerset, N.J., and Janet Smith and husband, Jim of Middlesex. Funeral services will begin 9 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008, at the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Harris Ave., Middlesex. Interment will follow in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway, N.J. Visitation hours will be 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scott Fellin, in trust for Michael Fellin, P.O. Box 101, Middlesex, NJ 08846. My deepest sympathy to the Fellin family. I have had the privilege of working with Steve for the past two years at Scotts. He was a constant smile and helped to fill all of our stressful days with laughter. I will miss his singing and his support. he will be greatly missed.
