I used to ship fresh raisins to Mike from Palm Springs, Ca.

Jana & Family - We were so saddened to hear about the loss of Mike. He was such a special person to both Bob and me. He gave both of us so much guidance and support in our careers with the industry. We will miss his wry sense of humor and pragmatism. He always challenged us in the best way possible. He will be so missed. Sending love and prayers. Julie & Bob Garbini

I worked for Mike at FMM in the 80's and always appreciated his style of leadership. Always positive and giving us a push to do the right thing. Our paths later crossed at football games at GT. Always enjoyed his friendship beyond the workplace.

Thoughts & prayers for the Kaney family. I worked at Florida Mining from 78-90 and knew Mr. Kaney from there. A much admired & successful Vice President. Blessings.

Mike Kaney was a fine leader and a friend in Kappa Alpha Order at Ga Tech. I was with him again at a couple of reunions and picked up good times as if we never parted. He will be be missed.

I was a member of Kappa Alpha Order with Mike at Georgia Tech, where we became friends. I later moved to Tampa, and we renewed our friendship there. After retirement, we moved to the mountains of western North Carolina, and we shared good times with Jana and Mike when they were at their summer home in Wolf Laurel. We will miss him sorely, but we have many good memories to treasure. We send our prayers to Jana and the family. Rest in peace, brother Mike.
