Thomas GERDICH Obituary

GERDICH, Thomas G., 87, of McKeesport, PA and Brandon, FL passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Tom served honorably in the Marine Corps during WWII and worked for US Steel in McKeesport for 38 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Claire "Queenie"; sons, Thomas, Michael; and daughter, Kathy. He is survived by children, Don (Patti), Gregg (Lynn), Rosemarie, Mark (Carol) and Julia (Steve), as well as daughters-in-law, Lisa (Thomas), Joann (Michael); and brother, George (Nancy). He leaves with great appreciation for his loving granddaughter and caregivers, Dawn Marie and Mat Wolff. Tom had twelve wonderful grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Savannah Court ALF of Brandon. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. Interment will occur in McKeesport, PA.
