Trey, I can't believe its been 2 1/2 months. Please continue to watch down over all of us. We need your strength and love. Continue to keep us safe. Your parents have been out of the country and I have been in NC and haven't seen them in a long time and it has made this that much harder. Although I hadn't seen Trey since I used to babysit for him when he was in elementary school at Brandon Academy, my memories are of a loving, talkative, precious, little boy who loved to give bear hugs, even then. His passing is a great loss to everyone who ever had the chance to know him.

Please know that we are lifting you up in prayer, asking for God's loving presence to sustain you at this time. When I read about Trey's sweetness as a young man I wasn't surprised. What else would we expect from a little guy who insisted on sharing one of his cookies after school ? I found out on that day that a cookie from a little hand that was a bit "grubby" from having fun on the playground, actually tasted better because it was given with love! God bless you all.

I just want you all to know that I too experienced the "hugs" that Trey gave out so lovingly. While I did not see him often, my last "hug" that I received was at the 2008 Charity Golf Classic. I met Trey during his senior year at Newsome, when I was a sophomore. I have to admit he was the most thoughtful guy I think I'd ever met, and his hugs always made my day, no matter how bad those days were. Dear Teri and family, I smiled remembering Trey as a little guy running around under the oak trees at South Brandon LL. That is the only memory I have of Trey, Marybeth and Colton, a baby at the time. What a beautiful celebration of Treys' life. I wish I could find some words that would take away the pain and suffering that you Terry, Cliff, Marybeth and Colton are going through. HE WAS ALWAYS DOING GOOD ALSO. HE WAS ALWAYS READY TO HELP THOSE IN NEED. MY DAD WAS MOVING A STOVE INTO HIS HOUSE AND TREY ASKED IF HE COULD HELP. DAD SAID SURE. TREY SAID TELL ME WHAT TO DO, I'M NOT SURE ABOUT WHAT TO DO, BUT I'LL TRY MY BEST. HE WAS A DOWN TO EARTH YOUNG MAN. NO MATTER IF YOU WERE RICH OR POOR, HE TREATED YOU THE SAME. I NEVER MET HIS PARENTS BUT THEY RAISED A GENTAL & KIND YOUNG MAN THAT TOUCHED EVERYONE HE CAME IN CONTACT WITH. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE FAMILY.
