W. WATSON Obituary

WATSON, W. R. "Ronald"

94, passed on February 5, 2017. A long- time rancher in the Land O' Lakes area, Ronald was born in Mulberry, FL September 9, 1922. Working in the car business in Tampa for many years, he also raised registered Black Angus cattle which began a home-based business of selling grass-fed beef. Failing health did not diminish his joy in riding around "checking on the herd." Ronald leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Eileen McCabe Watson; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Ernest Brady; granddaughters, Lisa, Laura and Carolyn; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Bailey; beloved nieces and nephews in Polk, Suwanee and Columbia Counties, as well as stepchildren Steve Diez, Linda and Ken Snell, Joe Diez, John and Karen Diez, and Julie and John Falls. Ronald is predeceased by his son, William Lynn Watson; brother, Gerald Watson; grandson, John Brady; and former wife, Louise. Burial will be February 25 at 12:30 pm at Willow Oaks Cemetery in Mulberry, FL; a Memorial Mass and Rosary will follow at a later date.
