Wendy BAIN Obituary

BAIN, Wendy Susan 60, of Safety Harbor, FL, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2023 at Suncoast Hospice surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Wendy was born August 4, 1963 at Morton F. Plant hospital in Clearwater, FL to Jean and Ralph Bain. She was a lifelong resident of Safety Harbor and lived in her childhood home that she lovingly called "The Bain Estate". Wendy graduated from Countryside High School and began a decades long career as an accounting specialist, working for Gold Dome Bank, Tech Data, Peat Marwick, Finch Law Firm, Lynch & Associates, Pro Tech Monitoring (3M, Attenti) and Luxview. Wendy also earned her real estate license and worked briefly for Prudential Florida Reality. Wendy is best known for her kindness, love of animals and love of her precious friends and coworkers. Her friends were just like a family and meant everything to her. She will be dearly missed. Wendy is survived by her brothers, Scott Poe (Pamela), Craig King (Mary); and nephews, Alex Poe, Ryan King, Dan King; and her faithful dog, Charlie. A celebration of her life will be held in January 2024. Details will be announced at a later date.

I am so sorry to read this at this late date, Wendy and I worked together at Guaranty/Gold Dome Bank, she was more than a co-worker, we actually took classes together at SPJC and did online classes at my house.............God Bless, I have thought about you for years and always wondered where you were since I moved on. Wendy, I truly miss you, our phone calls and text. I miss getting Charlie and Bailey together for play dates because it gave us a chance to talk and spend time together.
I think about you every day and wish we had more time. You were taken from us way to early my friend, but I know I will see you again. Love you Wen.
