REISS, William "Bill"

68, loving father, grandfather, brother, and son, entered into eternal peace January 3, 2018. He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his daughter and son-in-law, Katrina and Sal Urso; son, Phillip Reiss; three grandchildren, Madison, Salvy Jr., and Brady. Also surviving is his mother, Marjorie Reiss; his brothers and sisters, Dan, Rob, Pam, and Dawn (Kevin); and several other dear friends and family. He is preceded in death by his father, William Reiss Sr. Bill was born in Batavia, NY, however he considered warm Florida his home. He excelled in communications, especially when it came to helping others in need (EOC hurricane relief), and had a passion for ham radios. Bill had "the gift of gab", a friendly attitude, quick wit, and endless supply of one-liners. A skilled marksman and gun collector, Bill enjoyed target shooting almost as much as he loved Facebook quizzes. A celebration of Bill's life will be held Tuesday, January 16, at Boza and Roel 4730 N. Armenia Avenue, 33603. Family will receive friends from 6-7 pm. Memorial service begins at 7 pm.
