William STREETER Obituary

STREETER, William R.

89, passed away July 14th , 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Linehan; mother of Beatrice Ann, William Richard, II and James G. Streeter. He was also predeceased by his granddaughter, Jessica Carnal. Survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Marilyn S. Mulvaney Streeter; his children and their spouses; two granddaughters; and three great-grandsons. He retired from the Airforce after 28 years of service including WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. After retirement he taught auto mechanics for eight years at Robinson High School and upon full retirement, he finally realized his lifelong dream of owning a farm, raising Santa Gertrudis Cattle, then Macaw parrots, and finally a tree farm. William was proud of his service to his country, as well as his time spent as a Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent first at Manhattan Baptist Church, and then Knights Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations either to Florida Baptist Children's Homes, P.O. Box 8190, Lakeland, FL 33802 or the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018. Private graveside service was held by his family at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
