Robert Cardenas Obituary

Robert A Cardenas

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Robert (Alex) Cardenas, who peacefully left this world on January 26th at the age of 85. Robert grew up in Taos, where he spent his childhood. He served proudly in the United States Army. As a young man, he met the love of his life, Judy, with whom he shared a beautiful and loving marriage for 56 years. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, love, and cherished memories. Robert shared a love of the Denver Broncos, Country Western Music, and American Western Movies and Television. He will be remembered for his quiet demeanor, playful sense of humor, and love of long drives. He is survived by his loving daughters, Melody (Ty) and Mary Ann; his grandchildren, AJ and Alicia (Jesse); his great-grandchildren, Tatum and Bentley; and a host of extended family and friends. Though we mourn his loss, we take solace in the many happy memories. A rosary and mass will be held Saturday, March 1st at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish services starting at 9:00 AM. A lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests wearing Denver Bronco's apparel or orange and blue in Robert's honor.
