Brian D. Collins

Brian D. Collins, 28, of Taunton, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 in Framingham, after long battle with addiction. Brian was born in Taunton the son of Alvin Bucky L. and Judith A. (Briggs) Collins of Taunton. He was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 2007. Brian earned his Barbers License from Rob Roy Academy in Fall River in 2009. He worked for Reeses Pieces Barber Shop in Framingham for the past year. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. Brian was a communicant of Saint Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton. Survivors besides his parents are: two daughters: Rorie L. Collins of Taunton; Rubie H. Collins of Taunton; a son: Kavan L. Collins of Taunton; a brother: Tim J. Collins of Taunton; paternal grandparents Herbert Collins of Quinwood, WV; and Carlene (Larrabee) Grota of Taunton; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the grandson of the late Gilbert D. and Jean (Cleary) Briggs. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 9am from the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave, Taunton, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10am in Saint Andrew the Apostle Church, 19 Kilmer Ave, Taunton.
