Carole A Magazu

Mrs. Carole Ann (Pawluczonek) Magazu, 80, of Taunton, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 in Morton Hospital following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of 63 years of Damon J. Magazu. Born in Danvers, Ma., Carole was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Pawluczonek. She was a Taunton resident for many years. After graduating from Taunton High School, she was employed by Holmes Auto Adjusters and by the Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical High School. She enjoyed reading, cooking, casino trips and watching football. She was a communicant of the Holy Rosary Church in Taunton. In addition to her husband, she leaves: 2 sons: David A. Magazu and his wife, Carrie of Bluffton, S.C., and Douglas E. Magazu and his wife, Deborah of Newtown, CT. Carole adored and was extremely proud of her seven grandchildren: Anthony, Dominick, Damon, Olivia, Roman, Emma and Dylan. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her son, Daniel J. Magazu. Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Friday, February 9 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in the Holy Rosary Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
