Jeffrey E. Fisher

1953 - 2018

Jeffrey E. Fisher (Jeff) 65, passed away August 5, 2018, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Jeff was a resident of Lakeville, MA and spent his winters in Naples, FL. Jeff was born Friday July 10, 1953 in Taunton, MA to the late Beverly (Brown) Fisher and Francis Fisher. He graduated from UMASS Amherst in 1975. He was a Vice President of National Accounts at Ryder Systems where he recently celebrated his 40th anniversary with the company. He was a member of the Ryder RoundTable 1980-Present where he spent two terms on the Board and was Chairman 1995/1996. Jeff enjoyed spending his days golfing, avidly following all Boston sports teams, and spending time with his wife and kids poolside. He was a committed supporter of the Taunton YMCA where he spent many evenings working out. Jeff is survived by his wife Debra (Blanchard) Fisher, daughter Leann (Fisher) Gebhardt, son-in-law Karl Gebhardt, daughter Molly Fisher, and her partner Michael Simpson. Services will be held on Friday August 10, 2018 from 3-7pm at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford St. Lakeville, MA.
