Joshua R. Smith

Joshua Ryan Smith, 27, of Lakeville, passed away suddenly on March 5, 2017 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. He was born in Taunton, the son of John H. Smith Jr. of Norton and Laura (Lemieux) Smith of Lakeville, Joshua graduated from Norton High School class of 2007. He had previously worked as a driver's assistant for the Alpha Group in Norton and had just moved to Maine to begin working for a bakery. He enjoyed, video games, fishing, camping and the outdoors. Joshua also cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. Survivors besides his parents are a sister: Lindsey A. Smith of Attleboro; step brother Austin Starvish of Taunton; a step mother: Janice Smith of Norton; a step father: Richard Starvish Sr. of Lakeville; step brothers: Andrew Donndelinger of Norton; Richard Starvish Jr. of Taunton; and Randy DeCosta of Lakeville; step sisters: Jayme Donndelinger of Norton; Jill Donovan of Norton; a step grandmother: Elizabeth Warnock of Stoughton, along with several aunts , uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 4-7pm with a Prayer Service following at 7pm in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton.
