Madeline Rodrigues Obituary

Madeline V. (Souza) Rodrigues, wife of the late Joseph R. Rodrigues, died Wednesday after a short period of failing health. She was 87. A life-long resident of Bridgewater, the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Oliveira) Souza, she lived her entire life in the same home where she was born. She was a 1948 graduate of Bridgewater High School. Madeline was employed by Eastern Grain for many years before marrying and starting a family. A communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, she loved spending time outdoors and watching New England pro sports teams. She leaves one daughter, Mary Mirisola of New Bern, NC; one son, Joseph Rodrigues (and wife Naomi) of Rehoboth; three grandchildren, Amanda Repp of Peabody, Sarah and Gabriel Rodrigues; and several nieces and nephews.
