Thomas K. Gosling Sr.

Thomas K Gosling, Sr., 72 years old passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday January 3, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. Born in Burin Bay, New Foundland, Canada to the late Joseph and Margaret (Peddle) Gosling. He has been a resident of Taunton since his family moved to the United States at age 7, where he attended Taunton Schools and was a graduate of Taunton Vocational High School. Tom was a machinist and retired from New Tool in Attleboro, MA. After his retirement he worked part time as a custodian for the Taunton Public School Department. He was a former Exaulted Ruler of the Taunton Lodge of Elks, # 150. He was an avid sports fan, his greatest is the New England Patriots, where his family and friends gathered for every game at the Silver Street Stadium. He enjoyed spending time with his loving family. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of fifty-four, Christina J. (Henry) Gosling and his six children, Lorin Gosling and his wife Sharon, Lisa Gosling, Laurie Gosling, Lynn Gosling and her fianc Steve Seay, Thomas K. Gosling Jr. and his wife Jamie, and Christina (Chrissy) Gosling all of Taunton. He was loving grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of one, and loving grandfather of the late Sara Ann Gosling. He is the loving brother of Verna Brown of Burin Bay, New Foundland Canada, the late Lloyd Gosling and the late Margaret Bohner. He was also the loving Uncle Tom to many nieces and nephews, who adored and looked up to him. He will forever be missed by many friends as well. Family is welcoming friends to attend Visiting Hours on Wednesday January 10, 2018 from 4 - 8 p.m.in the Crapo- Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South) Taunton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to his predeceased granddaughters scholarship fund.
