Andre Colbert

Andre Baine Colbert, 35, died Aug. 28, 2010. He was born in Kalamazoo, Mich., and lived in Port St. Lucie and Stuart for the past seven years, coming from Kalamazoo. He was a chef at the Outback Steak House in Stuart and recently worked at Shindigs Irish Pub in Port St. Lucie. He was a member of an over-30 basketball league in Port St. Lucie. Survivors include his wife, Rachael N. Colbert of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Carmyn Colbert and Naia Colbert, both of Port St. Lucie, Kendalyn Vanderberg and Adryanna Vandenberg, both of Michigan, Morgan Holmes of Portage, Mich.; son, Tyus Colbert of Parchment, Mich.; mother, Mavis Colbert of Port St. Lucie; sisters, Stacey Colbert of Canton, Ga., Shirley Byrd of Mich.; and brothers, Donald, Kerry, Jeff, Mike, Kenneth and Fred Colbert. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Albert and Louis Colbert. Services: Services will be at 4 p.m. Sept. 3 at First Baptist Church of Jensen Beach.
