ANNABELLA K. PETERSON Mrs. Annabella K. Peterson, 85, died November 15, 2012 at Rosewood Manor in Vero Beach. Mrs. Peterson was born November 27, 1926 in Center Hill, FL and lived in Vero Beach for 40 years coming from Waterloo, IA. She met her husband, Harlan L. Peterson, while he was in the U.S. Navy, stationed in Miami. They married in Orlando, FL in 1948. Annabella and Harlan moved from Orlando, FL to Iowa where they raised Quarter Horses on the family farm. She was an avid fisherman and lived in both Vero Beach and Okeechobee, FL where she pursued her passion of fishing. She was a graduate of Avon Park High School, Avon Park, FL, Class of 1944. Survivors include daughters, Beverly (Phil) Henley of Troy, NC, Sue (Bill Briggs) McBratney and Nancy (Roy) Cameron both of Vero Beach; grandsons, Christopher McBratney and Rhett Cameron both of Vero Beach; granddaughter, Katrina Spinnweber of Butler, PA; very special niece, Barbara (Jake) Stumberg of Vero Beach and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Peterson was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Harlan L. Peterson, son, Ronald Peterson, brother Curtis Kimbrough and sister Eunice Dipietro. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 in memory of Mrs. Peterson. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Sunday November 18, 2012 at Strunk Funeral Home Vero Beach. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 19, 2012 at Living Lord Lutheran Church, Vero Beach with Rev. David A. Charlton officiating.
