Psalm 147:3

February 16, 2017

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

My dear, dear Aunt Anne (otherwise known as Big Anne to me), was such an important part of the lives of the Moses children as we grew up. It was a lucky day when she decided to marry our Uncle Ben, and add a loving, beautiful aunt to our lives, as well as new cousins to our family!

My mom, Lois Moses, and Aunt Anne shared a special relationship-often displaying a sense of fun , laughter, class and fashion as they danced, worked and shared life's experiences.
As teachers, Aunt Anne and I shared conversations about child development and the experiences we had as educators.

I will always hold a special place in my heart for Aunt Anne. I will also forever appreciate the efforts she made to be a loving support to another person who has a special place in my heart forever- our dear Uncle Carl.

-Ann and John Brown
Rest in peace, Big Anne
You will live forever in our hearts!

My dear, dear Aunt Anne brought joy to everyone who knew her. Aunt Anne was such an important part of the Moses kids'lives. She shared class, fashion, laughter, and joy with my mom, Lois Moses. It was a lucky day for us when she married my Uncle Ben and joined our family, adding new cousins to our lives.

Aunt Anne and I shared the love of children and teaching. She will forever hold a special place in my heart...
and I will be forever grateful that she was also a caring and loving part pf my dear Uncle Carl's life!

Ann Brown (and John) --- who also had a very special tenderness in his heart for this very special lady . . . and he just added . . . when he met Aunt Anne when he was the tender age of 17, he thought she was the most sexy lady he had ever seen.)

It was a treat to know Anne over the years. I first met her at her brother Ham's apartment in Ocean City, NJ, back in the seventies. She was someone you could take to in an instant. I will second with enthusiasm every bit of admiration her niece Becky (Rebecca) lavishes on her here.

I offer my sincere condolences to your family. May the God of peace and comfort help you endure during this time of sorrow. Psalms 119:76.

I am sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a good friend of my mother's (Joan Barry Schleihauf). We thought she was so glamorous. She'd tell the story of her red shoes being the focus of her kindergarteners.

Anne was a terrific person, what great memories of all the good times at White Mountain and family gatherings. She will be sadly miss by all that knew her.

I was honored to be her (frequent) house guest, travel companion, sorority sister, exercise partner but most importantly her niece. She was unerringly gracious, effortlessly kind, completely hilarious and the best Aunt ever.

Anne Haseltine was one of the most gracious and loving people we have ever known. She brought great joy to our family when she married our Uncle Ben. We spent many happy times with her at "the Mountain" and in Crescent Hills where she was loved by all especially her brother and sister in law Dr.Campbell and Lois Moses.

She lives in our hearts and minds always.
