Art Bartelme Obituary

Art E. Bartelme

Fort Pierce

Art E Bartelme, 94, of Ft. Pierce FL made his journey home in heaven where he is joined with all his loved ones and animals July 29, 2017. He was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Feb. 19, 1923 to Edward and Ella Bartelme.

He was a man of many talents who built his own homes, furniture and carvings, all of his own designs. He loved people but most of all he loved his Lord and never ceased to tell of His goodness, he never shied away of winning lost souls to the Kingdom of God, this was his life's mission. Surely he wears many crowns! He served in US Navy in WW2, and was stationed for awhile in Ft. Pierce FL.

He is survived by his son Dan Bartelme (Mern), daughters Laurie Smith (Ken), Beckie Forget (John), Bonnie Shuler (Fred), 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, whom we are grateful to for his excellent care, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981. In lieu of his request there will be no memorial service. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service. An online guest book may be signed at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com
