What comes to my mind when I think about Bruce. He loved his family. He worked hard. He traveled to China. He showed us around Disney World. He painted our front door. He still had all his hair. We went to the top of the tall building in Chicago. Smoking in front of our little space heater in the sunroom in the middle of winter. Setting off fireworks on the fourth of July. He was my brother-in-law. He was my friend. He will be missed.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

When I was a baby,
you would hold me in your arms.
I felt the love and tenderness,
keeping me safe from harm.
I would look up into your eyes,
and all the love I would see.
How did I get so lucky,
you were the dad chosen for me.
There is something special
about a father's love.
Seems it was sent to me
from someplace up above.
Our love is everlasting,
I just wanted you to know.
That you're my special hero
and I wanted to tell you so. I'll miss you dad and I love you.

I always enjoyed being around Bruce. No matter how difficult the working conditions were he always was easy to work with. He had a good since of humor an nothing seemed to get him riled up. When his name is brought up on the job the guys that worked with him always say how much they miss him and how much they enjoyed working with him. He helped me to stay calm. He had a great spirit about him and I will miss him. Our prayers to the family. I believe that we pass on to a better place and I believe that is where he is.

I miss your smile,

I miss your laugh,

I miss you,

and that happiness you always had.

But one day your smile had faded away,

I still remember how I felt that day,

Your warmth and comfort that was always near,

Your life and joy seamed to disappear.

You took your last breath,

To end your suffering,

If I said it hadn't effected me,

I'd just be bluffing.

If I could change everything,

You know I would,

I would change it for you,

I know I should.

But what if the sadness I had infected everyone else?

What if like a disease it spread all about?

Maybe I wouldn't do it,

It would just be greedy,

I'm sorry if I sound so desperate and needy,

You have to see this is hard for me to get through.

When every friend I had had was you.

You left me!

You forgot me!

Take me with you!

They say your in a better place,

and someday I'll be there too.

I guess I'll wait for that someday,

I can't do this to someone else,

Put them through the pain,

That truly doesn't have any gain,

No matter what they say.

I want to scream,

I want to cry,

I have gotten to low points,

Where I just want to die.

But the sad tears are gone,

Now that the damage is done,

And All I can do is smile,

I can remember all of the fun,

The fun we had when it was just you and me.

I cry, but they're happy tears,

when I'm looking back on all of our memories.

I love you so much Bruce

Till we meet again in Gods paradise

I have known Bruce for a number of years through business dealings of which Bruce and his brother Gary were partners in. Though most of our conversations were related to business it was apparent from speaking to Bruce about life in general he was a good Husband and Father that loved his Family dearly. A hard working guy that provided for his Family, he will be greatly missed. Our hearts and prayers go out to Bruce's Family and Friends in this most difficult time.
