Cesar Guillermo Melara

Cesar Guillermo Melara, 58, died Aug. 24, 2008, at his home. He was born in El Salvador and lived in Port St. Lucie since 1999, coming from Long Island, N.Y. He was an accountant in the pharmaceutical industry in New York for 20 years. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church of Port St. Lucie. Survivors include his wife, Fatima Melara of Port St. Lucie; sons, Cesar Melara, Michael Melara and Bryan Melara, all of Port St. Lucie; father, Guillermo Melara of Port St. Lucie; sisters, Elsie Melara of Port St. Lucie and Haydee Martinez of Freeport; and brothers, Ernesto Melara of Freeport, N.Y., and Oswaldo Melara of Port St. Lucie. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elda Melara. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 865 S.E. Monterey Commons Blvd., Stuart, FL 34996. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 26 at Aycock Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Aug. 27 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie.
