Clyde Killer Obituary

Clyde Killer

Born in 1943 Died 2020

Clyde grew up in Fort Pierce. He was a Walk-on on the University of Florida Foot ball team in 1965.

After a foot ball knee injury he found his lifetime sport as Judo player in the UF judo program. Clyde consistently placed at state level college matches.

Clyde played Judo for the next 30 years and was often a medal winner and always a force to be reckoned with in state competitions. He retired from the sport as a 2nd degree black Belt.

Clyde graduated from the University of Florida law school in 1968 and went to work. From 1968 to 1970 Clyde worked for the General Development Corporation in Miami Florida and from 1970 to 1972. He was the City Attorney of Cape Coral. From 1973 to 1976 and then Clyde worked in private practice in Ft. Myers Florida. From 1980 to 1985 Clyde worked for the Bill Merritt Legal Clinic in Norfolk Virginia.

From 1986 to 1990 Clyde Public Defender's Office and from 1990 to 1996. Clyde worked at the State Attorneys Office in Fort Pierce. Finally Clyde settled into private practice at Ohle and Ohle until he retired in 1997.

Clyde is survived by his son Chris Killer, daughter Kay, two grandsons and two granddaughters.
