Darcy Seymour Obituary

Darcy P. Seymour, 74, died Jan. 1, 2011, in Fort Pierce. He was born in Malone, N.Y., and lived in Fort Pierce for 30 years, coming from Rome, N.Y. Before retirement, he was an artist. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Seymour of Fort Pierce; son, Darcy Paul Seymour Jr. of Fort Pierce; daughters, Paula A. Mendoza, Pamela J. Vilardi and Gina S. Durden, all of Fort Pierce, Denise K. Buchmeyer of Port St. Lucie and Melissa Seymour of New York; son, Shane Seymour of New York; brother, Karney Seymour of Rome, N.Y.; sister, Lyola Sutton of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Seymour; and sisters, Vernie Prichard, Hilda Hastings, Eleanor Sorrell and Kathleen Beyette. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981; tchospice.org. Services: No services are planned. Arrangements are by Haisley Funeral and Cremation. A guestbook is available at haisleyfuneralhome.com.
